SA Laser Works – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SA Laser Works. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General

SA Laser Works manufactures and supplies laser-cut steel products, including portable braais, bomas, wall art, custom laser-cut products and related accessories.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Pricing

• All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

• Prices include VAT where applicable.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Orders will be processed at the price displayed at the time the order is placed and paid for.

3. Payment

We accept secure online payments through PayFast.

Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received and successfully cleared.

4. Order Processing

• Standard products are generally dispatched within 2–5 business days, subject to stock availability.

• Custom-made or personalised products may require additional manufacturing time.

• Customers will be notified if any delays occur.

5. Delivery Policy

SA Laser Works delivers throughout South Africa using reputable courier companies.

• Delivery times are generally 2–7 business days, depending on your location.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays or circumstances beyond our control.

• Tracking information will be provided where available.

• Customers must ensure that the delivery address and contact details supplied are correct.

• SA Laser Works cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery.

6. Returns Policy

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases.

Returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:

• Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.

• Products must be unused.

• Products must be returned in their original packaging.

• The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturing defect.

• Used, damaged or altered products will not be accepted.

• Any product returned that shows signs of use will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Custom-made or personalised products cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrectly manufactured.

7. Refund Policy

Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, the refund will be processed.

• Approved refunds will be made using the same payment method through PayFast that was used for the original purchase.

• Refunds will only be issued after the returned goods have been received and inspected.

• Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by SA Laser Works.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled before production or dispatch begins.

If an order qualifies for cancellation:

• The refund will be processed through PayFast using the original payment method.

• If production has already commenced on custom-made items, cancellation may not be possible.

9. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

• Your order number.

• A description of the issue.

• Clear photographs of the product and packaging.

We will assess the claim and arrange a replacement, repair or refund where appropriate.

10. Product Information

Every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and specifications are accurate.

As many products are manufactured from steel and produced through CNC laser cutting, slight variations in finish, colour or appearance may occur.

11. Limitation of Liability

SA Laser Works shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

Customers are responsible for using all products safely and according to their intended purpose.

12. Privacy

Customer information is used solely for processing orders, providing customer support and complying with legal obligations.

We do not sell or share customer information with third parties except where necessary to process payments or arrange delivery.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
